This refreshing and nutritious Green Goddess Smoothie is perfect for kickstarting your day or as a midday energy boost. Packed with vitamins, minerals, and fiber, it’s not only healthy but deliciously satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves

  • 1/2 avocado, peeled and pitted

  • 1 ripe banana (can be frozen too)

  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks

  • 1/2 cup cucumber

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

  • 6-8 fresh mint leaves

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any plant-based milk of your choice or yogurt)

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

  • A few ice cubes (optional for a colder smoothie)

Directions

  • Prepare Ingredients: Gather all your ingredients. If you prefer a colder smoothie, make sure your banana and pineapple chunks are frozen.
  • Blend Greens: Begin by blending the spinach leaves, mint, and almond milk together. This ensures that the greens are thoroughly blended and there are no leafy chunks in your smoothie.
  • Add Remaining Ingredients: Add the avocado, banana, pineapple, cucumber, chia seeds, and lemon juice to the blender.
  • Blend Until Smooth: Blend on high until everything is completely smooth. If the smoothie is too thick for your liking, you can add a little more almond milk to reach your desired consistency.
  • Serve Immediately: Pour the smoothie into a glass, garnish with a mint leaf if desired, and enjoy immediately!

Notes

  • Spinach: Rich in iron, calcium, and vitamins A and C.
Avocado: Provides healthy fats and fiber.
Banana and Pineapple: Offer natural sweetness and are high in vitamins and minerals.
Cucumber: Adds hydration without overpowering the taste.
Chia Seeds: A great source of omega-3 fatty acids and additional fiber.
Mint: Adds a refreshing twist and can aid digestion.
Lemon Juice: High in vitamin C and adds a zesty flavor.
